Basketball Recap: Rosepine Comes Up Short

Rosepine played a tough matchup on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Alexandria Trojans, falling 63-28. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-11.

Alexandria's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyshawn Duncan, who went 7-for-8 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trey Dorty, who posted nine points and seven assists.

Rosepine is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Alexandria, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
