Baseball Game Preview: Riverside Prep Silver Knights vs. Colony Titans

The Riverside Prep Silver Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Colony Titans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Riverside Prep will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

On Tuesday, Riverside Prep needed a bit of extra time to put away Colony. They had just enough and edged out the Titans 6-5.

Thomas Salazar looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Adrian Jorge, who scored a run while going 4-for-5. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Riverside Prep's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Colony, their record now sits at 4-1.
