Baseball Recap: East Stroudsburg North Comes Up Short

East Stroudsburg North extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 3-10 in the process. They came up short against the Easton Area Rovers, falling 18-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Timberwolves of the 24-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Colin Howell was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

As for Easton Area, their record is now 7-5. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

On Easton Area's side, the team relied heavily on Nolan Fuller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Fuller a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Ordway, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

East Stroudsburg North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-1 loss against Whitehall on the 22nd. As for Easton Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-3 win against Liberty on the 22nd.
