There's no place like home for Calvary Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lakewood Piners a 7-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for Calvary Academy, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Lakewood from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Olivia Fontana led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Calvary Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3-2. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Academy will challenge Keyport at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakewood, they will square off against Neptune at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
