Recap: South Aiken Thoroughbreds vs. North Augusta Yellow Jackets
The South Aiken Thoroughbreds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 78-49 loss at the hands of North Augusta. South Aiken has struggled against North Augusta recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, South Aiken still got an impressive performance from Ladontae Felton, who scored 15 points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was Aaron Adams, who scored six points.
South Aiken's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for North Augusta, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Aiken will face off against Airport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Augusta, they will head out on the road to square off against Aiken at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Aiken will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
