Soccer Game Preview: East Lake vs. Clearwater + How To Watch

The East Lake Eagles will challenge the Clearwater Tornadoes at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

East Lake's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Tarpon Springs as they made off with an 8-0 win. Jack Huzar was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Clearwater made sure to put some goals up on the board against Anclote on Friday. They put the hurt on the Sharks with a sharp 9-1 victory. With Clearwater ahead 7-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Clearwater's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for East Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

East Lake skirted past Clearwater 1-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
