Softball Recap: Erath Comes Up Short

Erath was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Berwick Panthers, falling 23-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered against the Panthers since March 9, 2017.

Erath's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Berwick, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-13 record.

Coming up, Erath will square off against Southside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berwick, they will take on Teurlings Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Rebels have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
