Softball Game Preview: Stevens Falcons vs. Sotomayor WILDCATS

The Stevens Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Sotomayor WILDCATS at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Stevens has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 21.

Stevens fell victim to Warren and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 21-0 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Sotomayor was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell 5-2 to Holmes.

Sotomayor saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shayla Velez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Stevens' loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Sotomayor, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Stevens might still be hurting after the 14-5 loss they got from Sotomayor in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
