Jefferson is 8-2 against Whitewater since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will host the Whippets at 7:00 p.m. Jefferson has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 20.

On Tuesday, Jefferson was beaten by McFarland 89-34. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while the Spartans are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Whitewater strolled past Waterloo with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 61-47.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Whitewater, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Jefferson couldn't quite get it done against Whitewater in their previous matchup back in December of 2025 as they fell 87-80. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Whippets' Casey Lyon, who shot 8-for-14 from long range and dropped a double-double with 44 points and 11 boards. Now that the Eagles know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
