Basketball Game Preview: Amanda-Clearcreek Aces vs. Buckeye Valley Barons

Having just played yesterday, the Amanda-Clearcreek Aces will get right back to it and host the Buckeye Valley Barons at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Amanda-Clearcreek is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Zane Trace on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Amanda-Clearcreek lost 67-43 to Zane Trace. While losing is never fun, the Aces can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 561st, while the Pioneers are ranked 118th).

Meanwhile, Buckeye Valley didn't have too much trouble with Franklin Heights last Thursday as they won 51-35. The contest marked the Barons' most dominant win of the season so far.

This is the second loss in a row for Amanda-Clearcreek and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Buckeye Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
