Basketball Recap: Kobe Miller's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Gresham Community over Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran + How To Watch

Gresham Community extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-4. They lost 79-56 to the Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Blazers. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Gresham Community lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kobe Miller, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 47.8% field goal percentage. Nolan Pecore was another key player, shooting 57% from the field en route to 22 points and five assists.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Gresham Community: they've now won three in a row.

Hayden Schultz went supernova, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenji Lange, who posted 11 points along with five assists and four steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gresham Community will take on Tigerton in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
