The Half Moon Bay Cougars will challenge the Branham Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Half Moon Bay will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Half Moon Bay faced off against Burlingame on Friday. The Cougars walked away with a 29-21 win over the Panthers. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Cougars were down 14-0 in the second quarter.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Branham walked away with it. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Cougars 35-34.

Branham's win came from a few key players Half Moon Bay will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Michael Murphy, who rushed for 140 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one score. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Andrew Ho was another key player, throwing for 226 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt.
