Softball Recap: Mendota Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mendota's offense. They came up short against the Woodlake Tigers on Tuesday, falling 12-0. The Aztecs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mendota's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Woodlake, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Mendota didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-1 loss against Madera South on the 10th. As for Woodlake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Sierra on the 7th.
