Volleyball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ladysmith Lumberjacks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-13.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Ladysmith, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ashland will challenge rival Unity at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ladysmith is set to take on their familiar foe Hayward at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
