After soaring to four goals the game before, Swartz Creek was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Linden Eagles by a score of 1-0. Swartz Creek haven't had much luck with Linden recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Swartz Creek's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Linden, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swartz Creek will face off against Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Swartz Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Linden, they will challenge Holly at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
