Fans got a thrill when Ian Maag and Jake Howell connected against Loomis Chaffee. The connection went for 76 yards, the longest such play in NEPSAC Freelance this season.

Deerfield Academy was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Northfield Mount Hermon. The Big Green came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 95 last week.

Phillips Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Maag threw for 156 and 2 touchdowns and Howell had 92 yards receiving. On the ground Ryder Stone contributed 104 yards.

Phillips Academy moved up to 37 from 191 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Big Blues climbed the ranks as a result of topping Loomis Chaffee 40-14.
