Orono is 9-1 against George Stevens Academy since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Riots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Orono came up short against Old Town on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The Riots haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Orono saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Barrett, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Noah Schaff was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, George Stevens Academy lost 12-2 to Bucksport on Monday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

George Stevens Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Orono, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went Orono's way against George Stevens Academy when the teams last played back in April, as Orono made off with a 13-0 victory. Will the Riots repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
