Philo is a perfect 3-0 against West Muskingum since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Electrics will square off against the Tornadoes at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Philo fell victim to John Glenn and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Little Muskies, falling 6-0. The Electrics just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Philo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexie Charles, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles.

Meanwhile, West Muskingum lost 8-2 to Sheridan on Thursday. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Muskingum's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Philo, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.

Philo came out on top in a nail-biter against West Muskingum when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 8-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Electrics since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
