Softball Recap: Lynn's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

Lynn and Waterloo squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lynn had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Bears couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lynn's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-15-2. As for Waterloo, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 26-14.

Lynn wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Hackleburg on the 8th. As for Waterloo, they will square off against Ider at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
