Basketball Recap: Bronte Comes Up Short

Bronte lost to XDOT Academy back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Longhorns were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the Bison. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bronte's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for XDOT Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Bronte will challenge Irion County at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for XDOT Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stephenville FAITH at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
