Volleyball Recap: Cherryvale Takes a Loss

Cherryvale lost against Caney Valley two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chargers fell 2-0 to the Bullpups. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Cherryvale ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17.

Cherryvale's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Caney Valley, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Cherryvale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against West Elk on the 20th. As for Caney Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Oswego on the 20th.
