The Alvarado Indians will head out on the road to take on the Lake Worth Bullfrogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Alvarado's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
Alvarado is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Ranchview 86-13. The Indians have beaten the Wolves the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wolves has come to flipping the script.

Demarcus Belton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 146 yards and three scores on only 11 carries, while also picking up 68 receiving yards and one TD. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Alvarado also got a significant boost from Paul Rios, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Alvarado was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 362 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 211 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lake Worth, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-7 victory over Life Waxahachie. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bullfrogs considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.
Alvarado better keep an eye on Lucas Davis. He was instrumental in Lake Worth's win, throwing for 413 yards and five touchdowns. Terrance Aldridge also helped out as he racked up 136 receiving yards.
Alvarado's record is now 5-0. As for Lake Worth, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Alvarado has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 349.4 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Lake Worth, though, as they've been averaging only 59 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for Alvarado against Lake Worth in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 56-7 victory. In that contest, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 42-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
