McCollum had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 8-12 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Southwest Legacy Titans. This was a revenge game for the Cowboys: when they faced off against the Titans back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

As for Southwest Legacy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

For Southwest Legacy's part, Ian Macias made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Coincidentally, McCollum and Southwest Legacy will both be playing Southwest the next time they take the field. The Titans will head out to face the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cowboys will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
