Volleyball Recap: Bertie Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bertie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Gates County Red Barons, falling 3-0. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Red Barons when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bertie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Gates County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bertie will square off against rival Perquimans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gates County is set to face off against their familiar foe Camden County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
