Xavier Wilson Game Report: vs Shoemaker + How To Watch

On Friday, Xavier Wilson earned his first-ever forced fumble. He also made two total tackles as Temple fell to Shoemaker 31-28. We rated that as his best performance since September 20th, 2024, when he made eight total tackles and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Wilson and Temple will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Midway at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. The Wildcats have some work to do to even out the 1-6 series between these two since September of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
