Volleyball Recap: Chicago Christian Comes Up Short

Chicago Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the York Dukes. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dukes from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12.

Chicago Christian's offense was headlined by Zion Valentine and Luke Herrmann, who picked up three kills apiece. Herrmann really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with eight.

Chicago Christian's loss dropped their record down to 18-16. As for York, their win bumped their record up to 25-10.

Coming up, Chicago Christian is taking a road trip to take on Niles Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for York, they will square off against Victoria Soto at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
