The Whittier Christian Heralds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 81-29 loss at the hands of Heritage Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Whittier Christian has scored all season.

Whittier Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Leland Carrido, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.

Whittier Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Whittier Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Whittier Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sunny Hills at 12:00 p.m. on January 6th. Sunny Hills is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.7 points per game. Heritage Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harvard-Westlake at 5:30 p.m. on January 6th. Harvard-Westlake is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
