Volleyball Recap: Declo's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but Declo unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of The Ambrose School Archers by a score of 2-1. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Archers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Scarlett Fernandez was the offensive standout of the game as she had 14 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Declo's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for The Ambrose School, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Declo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Horseshoe Bend on the 13th. As for The Ambrose School, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Nampa Christian on the 13th.
