Academy of Science and Innovation had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They blew past the Gilbert Yellowjackets 62-30. With the Ravens ahead 38-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Academy of Science and Innovation's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maiara Rodriguez, who posted 14 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. Rodriguez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last nine games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalani Rivera, who went 9 of 19 on her way to 24 points.

Academy of Science and Innovation smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.
