Basketball Recap: East Lake Comes Up Short

East Lake lost against Mitchell back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The East Lake Eagles took a blow against the Mitchell Mustangs, falling 70-25. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Lake's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Mitchell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Lake won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Countryside at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Mitchell, they will take on River Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
