Rolla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Satanta Indians and fell 66-34. One positive for the Pirates, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Yahaira Puerto was nothing short of spectacular for Satanta: she almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Puerto has scored at least a third of Satanta's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Wood, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards.

Rolla's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Satanta, they moved to 1-2 with that win, which also ended their 16-game losing streak.

Rolla didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-22 loss against Deerfield on the 14th. As for Satanta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-41 defeat against Moscow on the 14th.
