Basketball Recap: Gans Takes a Loss

Gans lost against Midway back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gans Grizzlies had to suffer through a 57-27 loss at the hands of the Midway Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 464th, while the Chargers are ranked 199th).

Gans' defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Midway, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.

Gans is taking a road trip to square off against Midway at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Midway, they will welcome Weleetka at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Midway's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Weleetka's offense will have their work cut out for them.
