Summerville strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the James Island Trojans get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering the Green Wave have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Summerville pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for James Island, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summerville will host Aynor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for James Island, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against West Ashley at 7:00 p.m.
