Basketball Recap: Cornell Takes a Loss

Cornell was the 38-29 winner over Lake Holcombe when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Cornell Chiefs took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Holcombe Chieftains on Tuesday. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cornell's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Lake Holcombe, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Cornell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 87-62 victory against Birchwood on the 14th. As for Lake Holcombe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-20 defeat against New Auburn on the 14th.
