Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool extended their postseason success on Saturday against Christian Home Educators Fellowship. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 14-4 win. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Eliza Long made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool got a massive performance out of Emily Williams, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Williams is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Cyerra Moore was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Christian Home Educators Fellowship, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.
