South Beloit came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Marengo Indians by a score of 2-0.

South Beloit not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Marengo between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Serena Hoffman paced South Beloit's offense, picking up ten kills. Hoffman got some help from Macey Lineman and her 15 assists. Finally, Hoffman was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

South Beloit's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Marengo, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Coming up, South Beloit will face off against North Boone at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Marengo, they will venture away from home to face off against Woodstock North at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
