On Friday, S & S Consolidated made easy work of Leonard and carried off a 16-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won nine matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Pottsboro fell victim to Bells and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 14-0 to the Panthers. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

S & S Consolidated's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Pottsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1.

S & S Consolidated took their win against Pottsboro in their previous matchup on March 7th by a conclusive 13-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for S & S Consolidated since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
