Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newaygo). Everything went their way against the Lakeview Wildcats on Wednesday as they made off with a 9-1 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Newaygo as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Newaygo's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4-3 and their overall record up to 7-6-4. As for Lakeview, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newaygo will face off against Montague at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Newaygo are facing Montague at the right time seeing as Montague are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Lakeview, they will take on Tri-Unity Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
