            Volleyball Recap: Butternut Midgets vs. South Shore Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            Butternut was the  3-1 winner over South Shore when they last played one another  back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Midgets fell  2-0 to the Cardinals on Saturday.
 Butternut may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 15 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-15,  25-15.
 Brooklynn Treml paced Butternut's offense, picking up four kills. Treml got some help from  Lizzie Pritzl and her six assists.
Butternut dropped their record down to 9-10 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for South Shore, they moved to 2-11 with that  victory, which also ended their five-match losing streak.
 Butternut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  defeat against Winter on the 20th. As for South Shore, they have also already played their next contest,  a  2-1  loss against Frederic on the 20th.
