Despite the defeat, BASIS - Peoria saw an underclassman step up: Kaci Faber scored 14 points. That was a full 77.8% of BASIS - Peoria's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Maricopa Institute of Technology pushed their record up to 5-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for BASIS - Peoria, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Maricopa Institute of Technology will head out on the road to challenge Glenview College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for BASIS - Peoria, they will be playing at home against Imagine Prep at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Imagine Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven last Thursday.
