Softball Recap: LAMP Comes Up Short

LAMP fell victim to Alabama Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles, falling 11-0. The Golden Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

LAMP saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Russell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

LAMP's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, LAMP will take on Montgomery Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they will face off against Handley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
