Recap: St. Brendan Sabres vs. Coral Gables Cavaliers
The St. Brendan Sabres lost to the Coral Gables Cavaliers back in November of 2019, but the St. Brendan Sabres didn't allow the Coral Gables Cavaliers the same satisfaction on Friday. St. Brendan came out on top against Coral Gables by a score of 59-49.
Leading St. Brendan to victory were Gianna Vindigni and Jaden Castro. Vindigni scored 16 points, while Castro scored 20 points. The matchup was Castro's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Toro, who scored 9 points.
St. Brendan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Coral Gables, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Brendan will challenge Ransom Everglades at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Ransom Everglades is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for Coral Gables, they will head out on the road to face off against Goleman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Goleman is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
