TERRA Environmental relied on the efforts of Miani Pantaleon, who scored 14 points along with two steals, and Francesca Rodriguez, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Vega, who scored four points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They really took it to St. Brendan for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-27 win at home. With Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart ahead 35-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Josephine Salazar, who scored 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds, and Alissa Azcuy, who scored 15 points along with six assists. Azcuy hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Gaby Garcia-Pons, who scored 11 points.
TERRA Environmental is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart's record now sits at 9-5.
Tuesday's game is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: TERRA Environmental have been dynamite from deep this season, having only made 31.4% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart struggles in that department as they've drained 45.1% of their threes per game this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
