Bradley Central had lost eight straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 14-19-1 to make it nine. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-0 to the Ooltewah Owls, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Ooltewah, they are on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 25 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games.

For Ooltewah's part, not much got past Jaeda Tucker, who gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Bradley Central off the board. Tucker has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kaylin Leblanc, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Bradley Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ooltewah, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against East Hamilton on the 7th.
