Preview: Noli Indian Braves vs. Palm Valley FIREBIRDS
Noli Indian is 0-3 against Palm Valley since December of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Noli Indian Braves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Palm Valley FIREBIRDS at 3:15 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Noli Indian didn't have too much trouble with Weaver at home as they won 45-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Noli Indian.
Noli Indian found their leader in underclassman Caden Almanza, who scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Salgado, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Palm Valley entered their tilt with Desert Chapel with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Palm Valley enjoyed a cozy 50-32 victory over Desert Chapel on Thursday.
Palm Valley found their leader in underclassman Matteo Lam, who scored 20 points along with six assists and two steals. Alex Ratner was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 17 rebounds and two steals.
Noli Indian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Palm Valley, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Noli Indian was taken down by Palm Valley 62-30 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Noli Indian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
