Softball Recap: Grant County Comes Up Short

Grant County was the 10-5 winner over Scott when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves lost 14-2 to the Eagles on Saturday. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grant County's record is now 4-17-1. As for Scott, their victory bumped their record up to 5-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grant County will welcome Conner at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Scott, they will host Ludlow at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.68 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
