Soccer Recap: Pilot Point Takes a Loss

Pilot Point was the 4-0 winner over Sanger when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Pilot Point's loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Pilot Point's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sanger, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pilot Point is set to face off against their familiar foe Richland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sanger will take on rival Bonham at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
