Bolsa Grande made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Garden Grove, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Matadors fell just short of the Argonauts by a score of 8-6 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Matadors have suffered since March 17th.

Samuel Montes De Oca made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Bolsa Grande's success: when he posts at least one home run the team is 3-1 (and 5-10 when he doesn't). George Colmenero also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
