Riverbend has gone 8-2 against Stafford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. Riverbend is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On Thursday, Riverbend came up short against James Monroe and fell 61-53.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Stafford over Alexandria City in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. The Indians put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 59-33 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 26 points or more this season.

Stafford's win came from a few key players Riverbend will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sanaa Jenkins, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 19 boards. Those 19 rebounds gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blair Hill, who posted 12 points in addition to seven steals and six boards.

The win made it two in a row for Stafford and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points over those games. As for Riverbend, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Riverbend was able to grind out a solid win over Stafford in their previous meeting back in February, winning 55-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
