Volleyball Recap: Ouray Puts Losing Streak Behind Them + How To Watch

Ouray needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight matches and they got it from Imogene Demuth. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Norwood Mavericks 3-2 for which the team can thank Demuth, who had 17 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Ouray was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-95), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 11-25, 15-12.

Ouray's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Norwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ouray and Norwood will both be playing Ridgway the next time they take the court. The Mavericks will host the Demons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
